FLOOD warnings are still in place around Worcestershire as weathermen warn of more rain to come.

Road under water around the county this afternoon include the Hanley Road at Upton, the B4080 at Eckington and the C2022 Jubilee Bridge at Fladbury.

In Worcester itself, Hylton Road was closed to traffic this morning as water came up through drains, and the Environment Agency is working to pump away the water. The Pitchcroft car park is partially flooded and the South Parade area is under water.

The Croft Road pay-and-display car park is also reported as closed due to flooding.

Further afield the M50 was partially closed near its junction with the A417, and north of the city, the A38 at Wychbold and A4133 at Ombersley are reported to be just passable.

The Met Office is currently warning of outbreaks of rain continuing through the afternoon, again heavy at times. These outbreaks will also continue in many areas through the evening. However, the rain will slowly ease overnight, with most places becoming dry by dawn.
