A BUMPER crowd of collectors and enthusiasts turned out to Evesham Leisure Centre for a toy and train fair.
More than 200 people browsed 40 stalls including model railways, cars, trucks and buses along with collectors’ items ranging from the 1930s to the present day.
Organiser Tom Oakes, who has been hosting the fair in Evesham and other parts of the country for nearly a decade, said he was pleased with the turnout. It went very well, we were very pleased with it,” he said. “We had a higher than normal number of people throughout the day, which for a small event was very good.
“It’s a nice venue because of the staff at the leisure centre. It creates a nice friendly atmosphere.”
The next event is being held at the Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre, Bromsgrove Street, Kidderminster, on Saturday, February 23.
