Two taken to hospital following crash near Kidderminster
TWO men have been taken to hospital and two further patients were treated at the scene following a road traffic collision at Far Forest Rock near Kidderminster earlier today.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A456 at the junction with the A4117 at Far Forest Rock shortly before midday.
Three ambulances, together with an incident support officer in a rapid response vehicle attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a car and van had collided.
“Two men in their 30s were extricated from the van and treated for head and leg injuries.
"They were immobilised at the scene before being transferred to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
“A further male in the van was treated at the scene for minor injuries and did not require further hospital treatment.
“The car driver, a woman believed to be in her f50, was treated at the scene for minor injuries and she did not require further hospital treatment.”
