Jessops branches in Worcester, Evesham and Kidderminster close for good

ALL branches of stricken camera chain Jessops closed tonight with the loss of 1,370 jobs.

The news came two days after the High Street giant, which has branches in Worcester, Evesham and Kidderminster, was placed into adminstration.

Administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which was appointed to the group on Wednesday, said today it would shut all 187 branches at the close of business.

Further job losses are likely at the group's head office in Leicester.
