A former lover of a Worcester man accused of 22 sex offences claimed that he wanted to watch a pornographic film as they had intercourse.
The woman, a witness in the trial of 44-year-old Darren Purchase, told a jury: "It made me feel dirty and horrible. I wanted him to turn it off."
On another occasion, he wanted one of her girlfriends to watch and make a video recording as they were having sex.
Purchase, of Hayfield Close, St John's, pleads not guilty at Worcester Crown Court to rape, buggery and indecent assault betwen 1984 and 2011.
His alleged abuse victims include eight females and one male.
His relationship with the witness began when she was working in Worcester as a cashier in a High Street business. He was a bus driver and she said he seemed like "a nice bloke." They first had sex when he took her to his parents' house while they were on holiday.
For the first few months, sex was enjoyable but then he demanded other sexual acts. "At one stage, I told him the relationship was finished. I just had enough. I had to choose between him and my family. Our sex life had become a nightmare."
Cross-examined by Jason Aris, defending, she agreed that the relationship had lasted about five years. When Purchase was working away in Norway and Weston-Super-Mare, he acted like a normal boyfriend and would ring or text to ensure she was all right.
Although she had left Purchase for a short time, she later resumed a sexual relationship with him. He promised that things would change but she was scared because he was physically much bigger than her.
The trial continues.
