600 homes lose water after Hallow Road main is damaged
5:40pm Wednesday 16th January 2013 in News
UP to 600 Worcester homes are currently without a water supply after a main in Hallow Road was damaged late this afternoon.
Severn Trent reports that work crews are en route to the site of the damage and within an hour or so, supplies should have been restored to most of the properties.
Homes in Monarch Drive, Ellison Avenue, Lechmere Crescent, Cecilia Place, Bramley Avenue, Bramley Place, Lambourne Crescent and Pearmain Close are also affected.
A Severn Trent spkesman said that soon after the crews arrive, water supplies should be restored to all properties except 12 in Hallow Road.
They should have their supplies back after repairs are completed, which should take a further hour or so.
