WATER supplies to homes in the Hallow Road area of Worcester which were disrupted by a damaged water main on Wednesday afternoon were all restored the same evening.
Up to 600 homes lost their supplies at about 4pm because of a damaged pipe.
A Severn Trent spokesman said: “We would like to apologise to anyone affected. While carrying out another piece of work on a sewer pipe, our contractors noticed that a water supply pipe was damaged – unfortunately this caused a few hundred properties to have their supply interrupted. Our water engineers repaired the pipe and all customers were back on supply during the evening.”
