Abi sets sights on teen queen crown

A WORCESTER schoolgirl is hoping to win enough votes to make it through to the finals of a national Teen Queen competition.

Abi Grimshaw, of Colwall, near Malvern, is currently competing in the heats of the TeenQueenUk competition. Her heat ends on January 31 and she needs enough public votes to get her into the top three to win through to the final, where she would have chance to impress a panel of celebrity judges at Alexandra Palace.

The 15-year-old, a student at Worcester’s Royal Grammar School, was scouted for the competition while visiting the Clothes Show in Birmingham last month.
