FIRE service staff from Droitwich Spa have had their achievements celebrated.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) highlighted the work of nearly 40 members of staff at an event held at the Guildhall in Worcester on Thursday, January 24.
Natalie Beeby, assessment and development co-ordinator at the fire service’s training centre in Droitwich, was praised after achieving a CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Nathan Haste, who is based at the town’s fire station in Friar Street, was amongst 16 firefighters presented with certificates for successfully completing their trainee programme.
Station commander Neil Pigott acted as master of ceremonies for the evening, while chief fire officer Mark Yates presented each staff member with a framed certificate to recognise their individual achievement.
The chairman of the Fire and Rescue Authority, Councillor Derek Prodger MBE, also attended the event and assisted in presenting the awards.
