VIOLINIST Shulah Oliver was the special guest at a fund-raising coffee morning held at St Martin's Church, London Road, Worcester.
Accompanied by pianist Simon Marlow, she played a varied selection of music, including works by Elgar, Bach and Gershwin, to the delight of the audience.
The event was the latest in a series of coffee concerts held each month at the church. Proceeds go towards a charity of the musicians’ choice and this month it was Guide Dogs for the Blind. Shirley Scott of the church said: "We raised £237, which is really good.
There were about 50 people there, which I think is a record for the coffee concerts and Shulah played fabulously."
