A DRIVER had a lucky escape when his car rolled over on a county road this morning.

The accident happened just before 7.35am on the B4197 near Great Witley when the silver Mercedes E250 ended up on its roof.

The driver called emergency services, and police plus an ambulance service rapid response vehicle raced to the scene.

The paramedic treated the driver for cuts and bruises on the scene, but decided he did not need hospital treatment.

The Highways Agency was called out to clean up an oil spill.

Police were investigating the cause of the accident, which did not involve any other vehicles.

Really and you can tell that can you? Were you there?
Does it say the oil spill was a result of the accident for example ?

You can clearly see the car moving at speed!!!

More likely a moments loss of concentration and then over-correction - imho...

Errr no actually! All you can "see" in the photograph is a car on its roof, nothing more, nothing less. Anything else is conjecture.

Put it this way you don't roll a car whilst driving at a sensible speed for the conditions!!!! And if you can read it doesn't actually say it was a result of a oil spill. The vehicle would have probably lost oil from being upside down!

You can roll a car at 5 mph if you catch a kerb/pot hole/ditch/ have a blowout. I was pointing out the judgemental rubbish people post....

It doesn't say it wasn't a result of a fuel spill either!! There actually seems very light damage to the car so please tell me where the fuel/oil is likely to leak from?!?
