Rail commuters face delays
10:42am Monday 4th February 2013 in News By Freya Leng
COMMUTERS endured Monday morning misery on some key routes in the West Midlands with some delays lasting up to an hour.
A signalling problem resulted in delays of up to an hour to services through Worcester Shrub Hill.
Despite the problem now being fixed, there are delays of up to 45 minutes on London Midland between Worcester Shrub Hill and Dorridge, and between Great Malvern and Birmingham New Street due to earlier signalling problem at Worcester Shrub Hill.
This has also affected First Great Western services with delays of up to 20 minutes between Worcester Shrub Hill and Bristol Temple Meads, and between Hereford and Oxford.
The delays are expected to last until 11am.
