A PARISH council in Worcester will raise its part of the council tax bill by 2.5 per cent.
Members of Warndon Parish Council voted last night to increase its budget from £81,007 in 2012/13 to £83,032 in 2013/14.
Last year, the council courted controversy when it decided to hike up its precept by 16 per cent - an average rise of £2.50 a year for each household.
It had initially agreed a four per cent budget increase, but upped its proposal after fears the Government could impose a cap on parish councils.
