I missed the warnings and found the road closed on my way to a funeral. Parked cars and lorries trying to pass each other meant that vehicles were having to mount the pavements to pass each other. Obviously delays were inevitable. Not ideal, but I realise it is needed ! Could a one way system operate during this time when the road needs to be closed?
