DROITWICH Spa author Sheryl Browne is set to have her latest book released.

The romantic comedy writer, who lives in Rebekah Gardens, will have A Little Bit of Madness published for Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 14.

The story, which will be released by independent publisher Safkhet Publishing, tells the tale of Celia Summers who works in a retirement home. Her partner is trying to sell off his own mother's house for inheritance. She's got to band together with the retirees and a sexy policeman to stop that solicitor from taking the old woman's homestead.

Meanwhile, Celia fights to secure gallery space for her geriatric charges’ artwork, and aims to keep the care home from being closed. She’s even ready to abseil from a church steeple to bring attention to the plight of her old people.

The book is her fourth to be published by Safkhet and follows the success of Recipes for Disaster, Somebody to Love and Warrant For Love.

Sheryl Browne grew up in Birmingham where she studied art and design. She is a partner in her own business, a mother, and a foster parent to disabled dogs and has always had a passion for writing. She has also previously been published in the US.
