CHILDREN in Droitwich have been celebrating Chinese New Year.
Youngsters at Bright Eyes Montessori Day Nursery, Old Coach Road, have enjoyed a number of activities to mark the occasions and to help them learn about China.
They made large dragons, which were displayed in the school, created Chinese hats, masks and traditional money envelopes from Monday, February 4 to Friday, February 8. Pupils also spent the week tasting different Chinese foods.
Michelle Andres, from Bright Eyes Day Nursery, said: “All of the children have enjoyed the week. They have been taking part in many different activities and have learnt a lot about China and Chinese culture.”
