THREE top acts from the comedy club circuit will well and truly bust the winter blues this week.

Easygoing Andrew Bird will headline the night at the Evesham Arts Centre, with mischievous Welsh television presenter Tudur Owen doing the introductions and keeping order when the fun starts at 8pm on Friday.

Andrew started his career by making old blokes laugh down the pub and has since gone on to have sell-out shows in Edinburgh, played the Leicester Square Theatre and filled Hammersmith Apollo - all by being Mr Ordinary making funny stories and observations from everyday life.

Juliet Myers provides the main support, with her own brand of hilarious, cerebral, observational, gag-driven comedy.

She is said to be very likeable and chatty, and has written for The Sarah Millican Television Programme, 8/10 Cats and Radio 4’s News Quiz.

Chris Turner complete the line-up, offering sharply written gags, dark jokes, puns and improv skills built up in three years with Edinburgh Festival favourites The Oxford Imps.

Fresh out of University, Chris made the final of the BBC New Comedy Award 2011.

Tickets are £9 (concessions £8) in advance or £10 on the door.
