HUNDREDS of visitors braved Sunday’s downpours to attend the latest I Will wedding show at Brockencote Hall Hotel.

Around 200 brides- and grooms-to-be, plus their families and friends, sought inspiration for their special day at the Chaddesley Corbett venue, where a spacious marquee provided was packed with wedding products and services.

Around 40 exhibitors showcased everything from flowers and jewellery to sweet treats and entertainment ideas, while many visitors also took the opportunity to join escorted tours of the newly-refurbished hotel.

Dean Gunston, general manager at Brockencote, said: “We had a fantastic turnout in spite of the weather, with lots of people interested in viewing the new-look Brockencote.

“I Will put on a great show, as always, and exhibitors and visitors alike really enjoyed the day.”

The next I Will show takes place this coming Sunday at The Hilton Hotel in Bromsgrove when around 40 exhibitors will be in residence, and there will also be two catwalk shows to enjoy.

The event runs between 11am and 3.30pm, and with plenty of free parking available, you can spend as long as you like browsing the stands.

And don’t forget to enter the free prize draw to win goodies including the dress of your dreams!

The I Will wedding shows – run by the people behind local newspapers such as The Shuttle, Bromsgrove Advertiser, Redditch Advertiser, Stourbridge News, Halesowen News and Dudley News – bring together an array of services under one roof.

This means couples and their families and friends can spend a relaxed and enjoyable day collecting ideas and contacts to help create the perfect wedding.
