Diamond couple celebrate 60 years of marriage

Janet and Don Price celebrate their wedding anniversary.
A HAPPY Droitwich Spa couple have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in the town.
Janet and Don Price, from Newland Road, marked the major milestone with family members on Thursday, January 31.
The diamond pair first met at a cafe run by Janet’s parents in Friar Street. They then tied the knot at St Nicholas’ Church, Ombersley Road, Droitwich, in 1953. They celebrated with a reception at The Spinning Wheel restaurant.
The couple said they felt the secret to their happy marriage was the fact that they both cared and respected each other.
They marked the anniversary with a small family celebration.
