PEOPLE can dress up, dress down or do something completely different to raise vital funds for St Richard’s Hospice.

Fund-raisers are hoping people will join their Part with a Pound event running from March 1 to 8.

Rachel Jones, St Richard’s corporate fundraiser, explained that the event was held for the first time last year and had a great response.

“It’s such a fun and simple way to support St Richard’s.

“You can dress up, dress down or dress wacky or simply give up your magazine or chocolate bar for the day and donate £1.

“All those £1s add up and help make a big difference to adults across Worcestershire with life threatening illnesses.”

People who register will be given a fund-raising pack with lots of ideas and on the day employees and volunteers will visit many supporters to thank them and collect money.

Premier Places letting agency is one of the first to register and will be sponsoring the event.

Staff have decided to fill treasure chests of money for St Richard’s by dressing as pirates for the day.
