A SURGEON who works at Droitwich’s private hospital has been appointed UK regional advisor for the West Midlands.

Cosmetic surgeon Dalvi Humzah has been given the prestigious role by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Working as part of a UK wide network of surgeons, Mr Humzah will promote the benefits of college membership, develop a local network of professional members and facilitate educational activities in the region to champion the highest standards of health care.

Importantly, Mr Humzah, whose private practice Plastic and Dermatological Surgery (PDS) is based at BMI The Droitwich Spa Hospital, will work with local surgeons and physicians to encourage development and provide training across a wide range of medical and surgical specialities.

“Having been a fellow of the college since 1992, I’m delighted to take on this role in the West Midlands,” said Mr Humzah.

“Importantly, the four year position enables me to support fellow clinicians and ensure the highest possible standards of private health care in the region.”
