A WORCESTER band  enjoyed the sweet taste of  success after receiving glowing praise for its performance at the LG Arena.

Indie-pop three-piece Done by Sunrise supported Girls Aloud during the band’s Ten reunion tour at the Birmingham venue on Tuesday night.

The Howland siblings, Loren, aged 20, Jodie, 17, and Scott, 22, of St John’s, Worcester, performed two half-hour sets on the Forum Live stage in front of 10,000 fans.

Singer Loren said: “It went absolutely brilliantly. We gave out all the CDs we had and gained loads of followers on Twitter and Facebook.

“We had quite a few children there who asked us for photographs and autographs which has never happened before.”

The band next perform at Moochers Jailhouse in Stourbridge supporting Fran Classic on Tuesday, March 12.
