Droitwich's private hospital highly-rated by patients

PATIENTS have given Droitwich Spa’s private hospital impressive ratings when asked about the facility’s quality of care.

At BMI Droitwich Hospital, St Andrew’s Road, patients were asked a series of questions about the care they received with 99.2 per cent recording it as good, very good or excellent.

Consultant surgeons and physicians at the hospital received an impressive 99.8 per cent rating while theatre staff scored an unbeatable 100 per cent.

The independently managed survey was carried out by Howard Warwick Associates and involved almost 1,200 patients during 2012.

Keith Cunningham, executive director at BMI Droitwich, said she was delighted with the results. “We are proud of our patient care and work hard to make each patient’s time with us as pleasant as possible.

“It really is a team effort –– everyone works together to achieve these figures and I am proud of the high standards we have reached.”
