Story-loving children dress up for World Book Day

STORY-loving children across Droitwich Spa have dressed up to celebrate World Book Day.
Pupils at St Peter’s First School, St Peter’s Church Lane, dressed in their pyjamas to read books on Thursday, March 7.
They also enjoyed visiting a book fair in school and were given a hot chocolate and biscuit as part of the ‘bedtime stories’ theme.
Youngsters at Bright Eyes Montessori Day Nursery were encouraged to take in their favourite books to share with their friends throughout the week. Staff and children then dressed up on Thursday and enjoyed a visit to Droitwich Library.
Pupils from Salvation Army Pre-School, Union Lane, spent the day as their favourite fictional characters on Friday, March 8.
