Dear Malvern Langland Resident I am a retired water distribution engineer, aged 57. I was born in Worcestershire, and worked for a water company, until I became so disenchanted with creeping bureaucracy and centralisation, that I left to become self-employed.

Councils also suffer from these problems, being subjected to governmental interference; patronising over-regulation; pointless bureaucracy; social-engineering and political correctness, which seems designed to conceal basic facts from us, the tax payers; since all of this intrusive nannying costs us money!

UKIP stands for independence, not just from the EU, although many of our problems come from there, but freedom from ‘big government’ in general.
