BOTH Harwich lifeboats were launched to rescue a sinking yacht.
The yacht Delfini with two persons onboard reported taking on water two miles south of Harwich harbour on Monday at 10.50am.
The inshore lifeboat reached the yacht and two crew transferred onboard with a portable pump.
The water was pumped out of the yacht and the all weather lifeboat towed the yacht to Shotley Marina for repair.
