IT was a busy night for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service who had to deal with a significant number of weather related call outs in the county.
Firefighters were called at 8.30pm last night to Honeybrook Stud, Bridgenorth Road, Kidderminster, to tackle 1,000sqm of heathland that was on fire.
Three crews from Kidderminster and Bewdley attended along with the off road vehicles from Bewdley and used three hose reels to tackle the blaze.
It took nearly four hours to bring the fire under control.
Meanwhile, firefighters were called at 10.30pm to a grass fire in Hipton Hill, Lenchwick, near Evesham.
Crews were also called out to a tackle a fence on fire in Droitwich Road, Worcester.
Ten minutes later, the fire service was called to a building fire in Stourport Road, Kidderminster.
The blaze was at the British Sugar factory site.
