THIS dramatic picture captures the moment when a car crashed onto a traffic island in the middle of a village near Worcester.
Police were called at 12.21am this morning to the main road through Ombersley, near Creswells, after a blue BMW veered off the road and mounted the roundabout.
A man, who was driving the car, was taken to hospital with back and leg pain.
Force Duty Inspector Paul Crompton, of West Mercia Police, said a man had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
