A KIDDERMINSTER town centre bank has been shut for the day after part of its roof collapsed following heavy rain and thunder storms.
A member of staff at Lloyds TSB, Vicar Street, said the incident had caused flooding in the banking hall and electrical equipment including computers were not working.
She added the branch would be closed for the rest of the day and did not indicate when it would re-open.
“It is a health and safety issue and we cannot let people in,” she said.
