THIS book is a great partner to the popular Cbeebies TV show Woolly and Tig about a little girl Tig and her toy spider who comes to life and helps her to overcome common childhood fears and anxieties.
The book is very pleasing on the eye - it is colourful and clear, using good stills from the TV show.
Although dealing specifically with learning to share, the book gives a lot of learning and development opportunities numeracy and personal, social and emotional development (recognising our own and others' emotions and our impact on each other) in particular.
The language is lovely, clear and child-friendly throughout and, as in all good books, there are a few questions at the back to prompt lots of questions from little people. A really good book for three to five-year-olds.
