A WORCESTER man has been charged with three burglaries in August and September.

Michael Juson of Barbourne Crescent was arrested and charged on Friday, September 27 with trying to break into a house on Henwick Road at 12.20pm the previous day while the owners were at home.

The 46-year-old was also charged with a burglary in Britannia Square on Tuesday, September 24 in which more than £2,000 of electrical equipment and jewellery was stolen.

He appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Saturday, September 28 and was returned to the custody of police so he could be questioned about further offences.

He has now been charged with a third burglary in Brewery Walk on Wednesday, August 28 in which camera equipment and a Kindle were stolen.

He is due to reappear before magistrates tomorrow today in relation to the third offence.

The arrest was part of West Mercia Police’s Operation Fuchsia – an ongoing campaign to tackle burglary in South Worcestershire.
