A WOMAN has been charged with attempting to steal a firearm as part of the police response to the badger cull.
Madeline Buckler, aged 31, of Kings Moss Lane, Kings Moss, Merseyside, was also charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause another harassment alarm or distress.
She was arrested on Friday following an incident in Newent, near Ledbury, last Wednesday as part of Operation Themis, the police response to the pilot badger cull.
She has been released on bail and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 20.
