A WOMAN was taken to hospital with neck injuries after a three-car crash in Worcester.

An ambulance and paramedic officer were called to the incident just before 10am this morning in Newtown Road.

The collision happened between the Hospital roundabout and Crowle roundabout involving a Toyota, Ford and Citroen.

Fire crews arrived on the scene shortly after and cut off the roof of the car so the woman, thought to be about 30, could be removed safely.

She was taken to Worcester Royal Hospital.

No one else was injured in the crash.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to call 101.
