A CORONER has recorded an open verdict into the death of a man killed on the M5 in Worcestershire.
John Wood, of Birch Mews, Adel, Leeds, died after being struck by a lorry on the southbound carriage of the motorway near junction 6 at around 7.45am on September 2.
The 59-year-old was on his way to Worcester Crown Court to face fraud charges when he was involved in the collision.
The former financial consultant had also been charged with stealing £35,000 while working as a project manager in East Anglia.
