Among the entertainers will be the Happy Wanderers, a group of roving Victorian carol singers, getting shoppers into the Christmas spirit with their merry songs and upbeat antics, roaming around the city centre to spread the Christmas cheer, complete with a Penny Farthing and traditional attire.

Sandra Carter, from the Happy Wanderers, said: “We will be strolling around Worcester Christmas Fayre again this year dressed in Victorian attire and accompanied by a genuine antique 1870 Penny Farthing pram .

“We will be encouraging you to join us and enjoy singing Christmas carols and really lift your hearts with the spirit of Christmas while raising funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

“We look forward once again to seeing you all again as we thoroughly enjoy this event.”

There will also be the opportunity to experience the Victorian carousel, while listening to the sounds of barrel organ music.
