A MAN was left with a broken jaw after a “serious attack” in a late night fast food restaurant.

The incident happened in Chicks Chicken and Pizza takeaway, the Cross, Worcester, when a 23-year-old man was involved in an alercation with another man who threw two punches between 4am and 4.30am on Sunday, November 24.

The injured man returned home but later went to hospital due to the pain and was found to have a broken jaw.

Police would like to speak to a man seen on CCTV in the area who is described as a white male in his early 20s, of medium build, with short dark hair and wearing a white long-sleeved shirt.

Detective Constable Cath Morgan of Worcester police said: “This was a serious attack which left a man with a broken jaw. We believe the takeaway was busy at the time and we are appealing for anyone who saw the incident to contact us.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who knows this man or recognises him from the CCTV picture.”
