HELP is needed to identify a man who died in a collision with a lorry on the M42 near Alvechurch in North Worcestershire on Monday, 16 December.

Police are appealing for people to come forward with information about the man who was on foot when he was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle on the northbound carriageway between Junctions 2 and 3 at about 10.15pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe he may be a man in his 40s who had been living in a hostel in the Sparkhill or Acocks Green area of Birmingham.
