FLOODS: Evesham man in mobilty scooter rescued from floodwater
AN EVESHAM man in a mobility scooter had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming stranded in floodwater this morning.
The man became stuck on the River Side pathway near Evesham Rowing Club in Abbey Park at about 10.45am.
A fire crew from the town were called out and retrieved him. He is not thought to have been hurt.
