ROADS across Worcestershire will be gritted tonight as temperatures are set to fall.
Worcestershire County Council's gritting fleet will take to the county's main routes from 7pm.
The council, however, says drivers should not assume roads have been gritted.
"Take care on the roads as forecasts suggest that there is the possibility of icy surfaces tonight and potentially over the weekend," said a county council spokesperson.
"The advice remains the same – even if a road has been treated with grit, it is never safe to assume you can travel at normal speeds and motorists should always temper their driving to the conditions."
