Large-screen TV is stolen from St John's house
4:14pm Monday 30th December 2013 in News
A LARGE-screen TV was stolen from a house in St John’s, Worcester, over Christmas.
Burglars targeted the property in Malvern Road, some time between 2.30pm on Monday (December 23) and noon on Boxing Day (Thursday, December 26), forcing open rear conservatory doors.
They stole the 52-inch LG flatscreen TV and a Nintendo Wii console, along with a duvet cover.
Detective Constable Ed Shotton, who is investigating the incident, said: “We believe the duvet cover was taken to cover the TV, which was very large.
“The burglary took part in a busy part of the city and I am hoping someone has seen some suspicious activity in the Malvern Road area over the Christmas period.
“I would particularly like to hear from anyone who saw a large TV being carried away or loaded into a vehicle, or is aware of duvet cover being dumped.”
DC Shotton can be contacted via 101 or information can be passed on anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Please quote the reference number 202s 26/12/13.
