AN EMPLOYEE was threatened with a screwdriver as robbers escaped with a large quantity of cash from a Bromsgrove firm.
A man working at the firm at the business park, Buntsford Park Road, Aston Fields was confronted by three robbers, one of which was armed with a screwdriver, and was ordered to lie down on the floor while they took cash from the office.
He was then forced to open safes from which further money bags were taken.
A wallet containing bank cards and keys were also taken from the victim who was locked in when the raiders left.
He was not hurt during the incident and managed to raise the alarm immediately afterwards.
The three men were all described as being around 6 feet tall, slim and wearing black coats with hoods up to covering their faces.
Anyone with information into the robbery which took place between 5.25pm and 5.42pm on Friday, January 10, is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference number 494-S-100114.
