WORCESTERSHIRE County Council is looking for two parent governors to be the voice of parents on county educational issues.

Two parent governor representatives, one representing parents in the primary school settings and the other in the secondary schools, are needed to serve on the county council's overview and scrutiny committees dealing with education.

The role is to ensure parents of children in school in Worcestershire have a voice on educational matters and can hold the council to account.

Anyone interested must be a parent governor at a county council maintained school should complete a nomination form by visiting worcestershire.gov.uk/cms/democratic-services/parent-governor-representative.aspx.

Nominations must be received by noon on Friday, February 7.
