A MAN is set to feel the winter chill more than most after having his head shaved for charity.
Robbie Reid raised more than £1,000 for two good causes close to his heart after having his long locks cut off.
The 63-year-old, fromShrubbery Avenue, in Barbourne, Worcester, was inspired by his wife, Faye, who has a terminal brain condition.
As a result of his efforts, half the money raised will go to the Worcester-based St Richard’s Hospice, where she has been treated.
The rest will go to the Meningitis Trust after friend Craig Webb, who suggested the idea of a head shave, recovered from the illness when he was younger.
Mr Reid said he "couldn't be more pleased" by the amount raised.
