A WORCESTER business was on the receiving end of a visit by the city's MP.
Robin Walker stopped by at Worx Marketing on Pope Iron Road in Barbourne, which specialises in telemarketing.
During the visit Mr Walker officially opened Worx's new offices. The firm had previously operated from Severn House in Crown East, Worcester.
"It is important for us to have close town centre links so we can attract the kind of team members we need as we expand," said Worx general manager, David Lowe.
The MP chatted to the firm's six members of staff .
“Using the telephone to generate sales enquiries is often associated with pushy sales people," said Mr Lowe.
"For us, it is about softening the approach so we understand the needs of the prospect and never ever push them into a sale.
"More companies should be using the telephone to generate business as it is effective when done properly.”
