THE OWNER of two dogs which were dumped in a paddock of a rural smallholding are sought after by the RSPCA.

The dogs were found in a field within four foot high fences and a padlocked gate in Stanford Bridge, Worcestershire.

The male whippet and the male terrier were dumped between the night of Saturday, January 18, and the morning of Sunday, January 19.

Mark Lewis, RSPC inspector, said: " The whippet is very underweight and suffering from a skin condition causing sores and fur loss but the terrier is in good condition.

"They are very friendly and clearly know each other.

“If anyone has any information about who they belong to, call and leave a message. All information will be treated in confidence.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the inspector information line on 0300 123 8018.
