A CANNABIS factory was found by police investigating a suspected burglary in Stourport yesterday.
Police found the factory containing about 15 plants and a large quantity of cannabis bush worth a total of about £9,000 in the Sandy Lane industrial estate yesterday evening.
A 45-year-old man from Stourport was arrested shortly afterwards and was this morning charged with producing cannabis. He will appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 13
PC Jon Challoner of West Mercia Police said: “It was by chance that officers discovered the cannabis factory, and we are very pleased that as a result a substantial quantity of drugs will never reach the streets.”
