THREE people have been injured in a road collision.

It happened at 7.20pm on Saturday, January 18 on the Stourport Road in Bewdley and involved a green Vauxhall Corsa and a maroon Ford Fiesta.

The Fiesta left the road following the collision and the Kidderminster woman driving it was trapped in the vehicle until she was cut free by the fire service.

She was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital with serious leg injuries.

Another woman who was a passenger in the car was also taken to hospital with severe bruising.

The driver of the Corsa, a man from Stourport, suffered minor injuries and was attended by paramedics at the scene but did not go to hospital.
