A GROUP of sixth formers look set to become the next generation of visual artists by exhibiting of their artwork.

Eleven students from Baxter College, Kidderminster, will be making and installing the exhibition entitled Untangle in the old library space at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, Foregate Street, on Tuesday, January 28, with a private view from 3.30pm to 4.30pm the same day.

The exhibition will then run from Wednesday, January 29 to Saturday, February 1 between 10.30am and 4.30pm daily.

Untangle is a colourful art installation of mixed media, such as wool, wire, felt and text and is the vision of what the students learned during a project focussing on the curation and display of collections in museums.

Visitors to the museum are encouraged to experience what these young curators have learned following a four-month project with Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, led by visual artists Amy Birch and Sian Hughes.
