PUPILS at a Droitwich school have excelled in the recent ABRSM music examinations.
Girls from both the junior and senior departments of independent Dodderhill School passed grades one to eight in a variety of instruments including the trumpet, flute, piano and voice.
Isabelle Palmer, aged 15, passed grade eight in the flute with distinction in addition to her grade eight in Voice.
Her classmate Emma Bridges also passed grade eight in flute.
The school’s music department is led by Caroline Vinson, supported by a team of specialist instrumental teachers.
The school's new performance arts centre, which opened in June last year, provides a state-of-the-art facility for musically talented pupils.
Music scholarships are available as well as bursaries to cover the full cost of tuition fees for talented girls.
Entrance examinations will take place on Thursday, January 30.
