Children's theatre season gets under way with a wizard tale

THE first play in the new children's theatre season from the Swan Theatre Amateur Company will be Trouble and the Engine by Simon Atkins at the venue in the Moors, Worcester, on Saturday, February 1.

It tells the story of when Mr Watson, the toymaker, calls in a trainee wizard called Trouble to help him mend his broken engine but things go from bad to worse, and King Abracadabra has to be called in to sort things out.

The show will be held at 10.30am and 11.45am.

Tickets priced at £2.50 and under twos going free, with a season ticket for four plays costing £8 up until Thursday, January 30.
